What is included in the cenote diving price?
Prices include private guiding, cenote entrance fees, scuba diving equipment, transport from Tulum town and refreshments. There are no additional equipment rental or standard cenote entrance fees to add to the advertised price.
Are cenote entrance fees included?
Yes. Cenote entrance fees are included in the advertised diving price. Some cenotes have considerably higher entrance fees than others, which is one reason different combinations have different prices.
Is scuba diving equipment included?
Yes. All the equipment required for recreational cenote diving is included. You are also welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer.
Why do The Pit and Angelita cost more?
The Pit and Angelita have higher operating and entrance costs and are deeper, more advanced dives. They are generally recommended for Advanced Open Water divers or divers with appropriate deep-diving experience.
Are your cenote diving tours private?
Yes. Best Cenote Dives operates private cenote diving tours, so you won’t be placed into a mixed group of divers you don’t know. This allows the dives to be planned around your experience, interests and comfort level.
Can I book several days of cenote diving?
Yes. Multi-day diving is one of the best ways to experience the cenotes because different sites offer very different environments. Two-dive and three-dive days can be combined into a personalised multi-day itinerary based on your certification and experience.
Are there any additional costs?
Most costs are already included. Optional or exceptional charges can include Nitrox, camera fees charged by individual cenotes, card-processing fees and pickup outside the standard Tulum town area. Any additional costs will be explained before your dives.
Can Open Water divers dive the cenotes?
Yes. Certified Open Water divers can dive many of the recreational cavern routes, including sites suitable for less experienced divers. More advanced or deeper cenotes such as The Pit and Angelita require appropriate certification and experience.
How much does cave diving training in Tulum cost?
Cave-diving training is priced separately from recreational cenote diving and depends on the course and the diver’s existing certification and experience.
